This collection of new music by Brazilian singer-songwriter Yashmin Charnet-Abler and her husband, guitarist-composer
Paul Abler "Remember Me" is neither, strictly speaking, Brazilian nor Jazz; rather, elements of both are combined in new and pleasing ways, a sort of vigorous hybrid. The joy and honesty present on her first release remain, but an important transformation has occurred. All songs save two were written by Mr. and Mrs. Abler.

to be held at Whole Foods Market® Bowery
The Whole Foods Market at Bowery and Houston in NYC and Gibson/Baldwin
partner for a free two day jazz event
A Bossa Nova Music Production
Whole Foods Market and one of the leading manufacturers of musical
instruments, Gibson/Baldwin, have joined forces to present the first annual
Gibson/Baldwin Jazz Festival.
The free festival features many international jazz artists including Jack
Wilkins, Howard Alden, Allen Farnham, Joshua Breakstone, Ted Curson & The
Spirit of Life Ensemble with special guest Yusef Lateef, Paul Abler, John
DiMartino. Yusef Lateef will be signing copies of his book The Gentle
Giant: The Autobiography of Yusef Lateef.
