A seasoned guitarist and composer, Paul Abler has composed extensively for film and television. Paul is a graduate of the Guitar Institute of Technology in Los Angeles; he has recorded and performed with Cindy Blackman, Straight Ahead, Bobby Battle, Craig Taborn, Roy Brooks, Marcus Belgrave, David McMurray, Carlton Holmes, Dwayne Burno, Dion Parson, Sara Jane Cion, Bob Cranshaw, Jaribu Shahid, Gerald Cleaver, Cameron Brown, Chip Jackson, Ugonna Okegwo, David McMurray, Bern Nix, Ted Rosenthal, Allen Farnham and many others. Paul Abler has several recordings as a leader; his Quartet has been performing in Jazz circles around the world and features musicians such as Cindy Blackman and Carlton Holmes. Their sound is unique blend of Post Bop, Brazilian and contemporary influences.
Paul was selected by Z100 Radio Station in New York City as an Important Neo-Bop Artist.

The Brazilian percussionist Caco de Oliveira has played and recorded with some of the most celebrated sambistas and singers such as Martinho da Vila, Serginho Meriti, Luis Melodia and Milton Nascimento. Also, he founded the first all-woman orchestra of Afro-Brazilian percussion, Meninas do Rio. In America, Caco has been teaching Brazilian percussion style and performing with some great names of Jazz scene, such as Chip Jackson, Ted Rosenthal, Paul Abler, Allen Farnham, Sara Jane Cion, Dion Parson, Tim Ferguson, Tomoko Ohno, Sean Smith among many others.
